ReWork the Bay is a powerful initiative committed to transforming the Bay Area’s workforce ecosystem by empowering workers, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and driving systemic change. The short film explores how this effort brings together leaders from diverse sectors who share a vision of an equitable future, working collaboratively to address the complex challenges faced by the region’s workers.

Part poetry, part memoir-style reflection and part prayer, PARAMITA bears witness to Pajna Choudhury’s 25-year coming out process with her traditional Bangladeshi mother. Told with intimacy, tenderness and a quiet power PARAMITA invites us into a meditation spiritual experience as Prajna connects with Buddhist practices and nature as gateways for intergenerational healing.

Sounds About White: The Untold Story of the DEI Expert provides an intimate look into the experience of Dr. Akilah Cadet during the global pandemic and “summer of allyship” that followed the murder of George Floyd, when her work as an expert in organizational development, change management, and DEI was suddenly booming.

Line of Reverence is a short poetic film about a Ghanaian woman who communes with her ancestors during her day of devotion ritual.

When The Garden Comes is a short documentary film that follows a Black multi-generational North Oakland family across themes of home, garden, and legacy.

On the Pulse of Life is a short experimental documentary by Emmy nominated filmmaker Jessica Jones that chronicles the birth justice movement in Alameda County, CA and celebrates new motherhood for Black women.

Esé Pelo Tuyo (‘That hair of yours’) is an ongoing transmedia project about AfroLatinx hair styles and histories in collaboration with Kuthul Media and the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia.

Black High Tea is a short (soon to be feature-length) documentary about women of color that gather at intergenerational tea parties ranging in age from 6 - 97 years old. The documentary includes a brief history of high tea, interviews with women who have attended teas, and the point of view of the director's mother who has been hosting tea parties for over 15 years.
